Director of Faculty Development

In partnership, Carle and Illinois are seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the first permanent Director of Faculty Development. The Director of Faculty Development will work collaboratively to establish and maintain programs and opportunities for faculty professional growth to support teaching in the college’s active learning curriculum, and will monitor and strive for continuous improvement in faculty excellence. The Director for Faculty Development will also oversee workshops and other mechanisms to train faculty in the pedagogies of the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. Director of Admissions

The Director of Admissions is responsible for all aspects of admissions, including oversight of student recruitment, selection, and matriculation. The Director of Student Affairs and Financial Aid will be responsible for monitoring all aspects of medical student welfare and professional development towards meeting key milestones in the academic life of the student, including promotion, graduation, and securing suitable residency positions. The Director of Student Affairs and Financial Aid will collaborate with the Office of Academic Affairs to monitor student academic progress. In addition, the person in this position will oversee services and events designed to identify and meet student needs, enhance well-being, and promote professional development.
