In our highly interactive learning environment, you will work in small teams alongside experts in medicine, engineering and science. This problem-based learning environment is meant to encourage our students to tackle issues with an interdisciplinary vision. Our systems-based approach, where basic sciences are integrated and organized around both organ systems and clinical cases, means you benefit from one integrated learning module.
Your small learning community–a cohort of eight student peers–will serve as your home for learning, mentoring and development across all four years of the curriculum. During Phase I of the curriculum, you will work with your cohort on cases under the guidance of a faculty Medical Education Facilitator.
