Innovations in Health: Past, Present, and Future

A virtual conference sponsored by Carle Illinois College of Medicine, University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign, and Carle Graduate Medical Education

WELCOME!

As a member of our medical research community, you’re invited to join us for the 19th Annual Health Innovation Research Day on April 16, 2021. We’ve planned an exciting day with expert presentations around the theme of Health Innovation: Past, Present, and Future. This virtual conference represents a once-a-year opportunity to showcase the exciting medical research and innovation that’s going on at Carle Illinois, University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign, and Carle Health.

By joining together for this virtual conference, we hope to build relationships and increase collaboration across our rich healthcare research community. Medical students, residents, and fellows alike can take an active role by submitting an abstract of their work. Abstracts for this year’s virtual event will be accepted through February 22 in three categories: “Clinical Case Reports”, “Public Health, Humanities, and Ethics”, and “Research and Innovation”.

So please join us and catch the spirit of innovation that’s growing in our community of health innovators.

Message from the Health Innovation Research Day Conference Co-Chairs Dr. Georgina Cheng and Dr. Stephen Boppart

We look forward to seeing all of you: medical students, residents and fellows, faculty, and colleagues at Research Day, April 16, 2021, part of our new Innovation Week.  Our wish for you is that you will find this day an opportunity to take part in scholarly dialogue within and outside of your discipline, to engage scholars you might not have the opportunity to meet otherwise, and to strive to do so with openness and enthusiasm.  Please keep in mind the theme for the day, Innovations in Health: Past, Present, and Future, and find opportunities to share your ideas and innovations, to be inspired, to ask questions, to build your network, and encourage others to do the same.  We are excited to join you!  See you on April 16th!
