Inside Look:  Carle Illinois College of Medicine and the Future of Health Care

Get an inside look at how the Carle Illinois College of Medicine is redefining medical education to revolutionize health care delivery. The world’s first engineering-based College of Medicine boasts a unique curriculum seamlessly fusing basic sciences, clinical sciences, engineering and innovation, and medical humanities to train a new kind of doctor. Participate in a medical virtual reality simulation and hear from our leadership how our one-of-a-kind curriculum is being developed for the first 32 students to start fall 2018. Presenters include: Dr. King Li, Inaugural Dean; Rashid Bahir, Executive Associate Dean and Grainger Distinguished Chair in Engineering; Marty Burke, Interim Associate Dean for Research and Chemistry Professor; and Professor Kesh Kesavadas, Director of the Health Care Engineering Systems Center.
