Appointments, Promotion, & Tenure

The department is the faculty member’s resource for initiating appointments, promotion and tenure. Appointment or promotion of faculty in the Clinical Sciences Department depends primarily on patient care and on stature in the practice of medicine, as well as contributions to teaching activities at the College. The Dept APT will review proposed new faculty appointments and will review promotion and tenure cases for specialized and tenure track faculty.
