THE HEALTH MAKER LAB: EMPOWERING MEDICAL STUDENT ENTREPRENEURS
The Health Maker Lab at Carle Illinois College of Medicine serves as the launchpad for innovations aimed at advancing health care and medical education. Medical students team up with peers in engineering, business, and the sciences to innovate and prototype marketable solutions to real health care challenges.
At the Health Maker Lab, you will translate ideas into innovations, designs into prototypes, multi-disciplinary teams into start-ups, and clinical practice into medicine that is more compassionate, humane, and accessible, for the greater good.
YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SPLIT A PROTON.
(We know someone who does!)
From the greatest university in the world come a team of brilliant minds,
artists, and engineers who are excited to help make your idea a reality.
