Pain Management Interest Group (PMIG)
The Pain Management Interest Group (PMIG) is dedicated to fostering medical student interest and education in the multifaceted field of pain medicine. Our mission is to enhance understanding of acute, chronic, and cancer-related pain through interdisciplinary discussion, seminars, clinical exposure, research opportunities, and advocacy. We aim to equip Carle students with the knowledge, compassion, and skills necessary to provide effective and empathetic pain care across all specialties, such as anesthesiology and neurology.
This is a subset under the group - Anesthesiology Interest Group
