Biography
Joe Sepe earned a Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, followed by an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. His research has focused on how sympathetic nerves modulate the inflammatory response following myocardial infarction, as well as on the scholarship of teaching and learning in medical education. He has taught learners across the healthcare spectrum (M.D., P.A., Pharm.D., and D.M.D.), and is always excited to discuss medicine (especially physiology) and research ideas with students.
