They can accomodate a wide variety of learners from medical students to professional certification training programs. Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

This spacious room is set up as an ICU. It contains a fully functioning ventilator, hospital-grade beds, code carts, computers on wheels with EPIC electronic medical record documentation and charting. Runs compressed air with screen monitor with video and Powerpoint capabilities.

Operating Room

This space is set up as an operating room. It contains a scrub station, fully functioning operating table, and surgical lights. There are dual-mounted overhead monitors for realistic patient monitoring. It also contains an airway cart, working compressed gas source, video, and Powerpoint capabilities.

Virtual Reality Stations

This room contains four virtual simulation stations to enhance technical skills and related educational activities in a low-risk simulated environment. This type of learning is as close to reality as possible without impacting patient care or patient health. Our VR equipment includes an intubation trainer, ECMO trainer, sepsis trainer, and virtual anatomy trainer.

Skills Lab

This large, multi-purpose room is home to several task trainers. It can be customized for individual or group learning sessions. It contains working compressed gas and video and Powerpoint capabilities. Our task trainers include routine procedures, OB/Gyn procedures, and pediatric procedures. Patient Clinical Rooms

These four inpatient rooms can be set up for adult or pediatric situations. They contain working compressed gas, otoscopes, ophthalmoscopes, thermometers, and work stations on wheels with EPIC electronic medical records.

Debriefing Rooms and Control Rooms

These four debriefing conference rooms have seating to accommodate 8 learners. Perfect for pre-briefing, debriefing, and video conferencing.

All rooms can be monitored through our B-Line Medical/Simcapture software system in the control room. This allows facilitators, technical operators, or clinical educators to lead simulation scenarios or monitor student progress during patient interactions.
