Disaster Medicine Interest Group (DMIG)

The mission of the Carle Illinois College of Medicine (CIMED) Disaster Medicine Interest Group (DMIG) is to provide opportunities for medical students at CIMED to explore the various areas of disaster medicine and to provide opportunities for career development, networking, and volunteering. The American Red Cross branch of DMIG will engage in community outreach for disaster preparedness education and train the DMIG members for volunteering with the local Disaster Action Team.

In alignment with our mission to foster a supportive environment for all members of our university community, this programming is open to all eligible persons regardless of race, color, or national origin.
